CHASE FUNDING THANKS TO COALFIELDS GRANT
Chase Swimming Club have proudly been sponsored by The Coalboard Regeneration Trust to the sum of £10,000.00.
The funding award made by The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT), the charity exclusively dedicated to the regeneration of our coalfield communities, will enable Chase to pay for the teaching qualifications of 8 level 1 and 3 level 2 UKCC coaches.
This will improve and can only benefit the increasing number of children that are joining the most successful club in the area.
The CRT is also funding land training sessions at both Cheslyn Hay and Rugeley Leisure Centres, and pool sessions at the Coventry Olympic 50m pool.
Without the help of the CRT’s generous support we would have not been able to fund the sessions at Coventry, and fees would have had to increase to pay for the vital land training that both junior and senior swimmers are now enjoying.
We look forward to seeing how all the Chase Swimmers now progress in a very busy 2009.
