Scottish Dobermann Club Championship Show

I would like to sincerely thank The Scottish Dobermann Club for inviting me to judge 50th Anniversary Championship Show. I would like also to thank all people who have been so helpful and friendly, especially Tracy Feeney, Robert Downie, Scott Wright and Colin Cranston (who picked me up at the airport and showed me beautiful Edinburgh).

The show was well organized and the ring steward was very efficient. I hope you like the trophy I brought for The Best Male Dobermann. It was an honour to judge the Dobermanns in Scotland. The overall quality is excellent, the heads are better than 2 years ago when I judged in UK. I would like also to thank all the exhibitors for showing their dogs.

Minor Puppy Dog (4/0)
1st. McIlroy Stracey's Kreiger's The Wizard of Oz. Six and a half month old black/rust male. Very good head, almost parallel head planes with very dark eyes and good eye placement. Correct bite and dentition, nice neck placement. Very good front and hind quarters. Good topline and croup, very strong bones. Good tan markings. Moved very well
2nd. Anderson & Frost's Chancepixies Trophy. 7 month brown/rust male. Square build. Nice head, almost parallel planes, good eye colour for a brown. Correct bite and dentition. Very good front and hind angulation. Strong topline, very good croup. Strong bone, moved very well. 3rd. Cairns Lamarg Cougar.

Puppy Dog (2/0)
1st. Lainchbury's Ashlain Makriammos. 9 month black/rust puppy. Nice head with almost parallel planes and dark eyes. Good depth of muzzle, correct bite and dentition. Good neck placement. Very good front and hind quarters. Good topline and croup. Good bone and tan markings. Moves very well.
2nd. Elmslie's Chancepixies Spirit at Kinmonth. 11 month old black/rust male. Very square puppy, good head, could have more parallel planes and would prefer longer muzzle. Dark eyes. Very good front angulation but hind quarters could be more angulated. Strong topline, good croup, moves well.

Junior Dog (5/1)
1st. Jones' Amazon Russian Ice 15 month black/rust dog. Very good head with almost parallel planes, dark eyes. Correct bite and dentition. Very good clean neck, correct front and hind quarters. Strong topline. Very good bone and tan markings. Moves well
2nd. Downie's Knecht Macouba 13 month black/rust dog. Very good size, excellent head, very dark eyes, good underjaw and long muzzle with very good head planes. Good front angulation, very good hindquarters and croup. Topline ok. Good strong bone with very dark tan. Moves ok.
3rd. Robertson's Cockneyoka Josey Wales.

Yearling Dog (4/1)
1st. Wilcox' Amazon Nadal. 19 month brown/rust dog. Good size, very good masculine head with good head planes and long strong muzzle. Eye colour good for a brown. Correct bite and dentition. Excellent front, very good neck placement. Excellent hindquarters. Good top line and very good croup. Big strong bones, moves very well.
2nd. Robertson's Cockneyoka Josey Wales. 17 month black/rust dog. Square build, very good head with dark eyes and correct bite and dentition. Very good front and hind quarters. Strong topline, good croup. Would prefer darker tan markings. Good bone, moves ok.
3rd. Craigie & Brown's Knecht Anton.

1st. Horgan's Aritaur Philosophy 21 month black/rust male. Very square dog. Very good head with almost parallel planes, dark eyes and correct bite and dentition. Very nice clean neck and good placement, very good front and hindquarters. Strong topline. Very good croup. Good bone and tan markings. Moves very well.
2nd. Goodban's Amazon El Cid with Keljaygo 2yr old male. Very nice head with parallel planes, dark eyes, correct bite and dentition. Very good front, good neck, very good hind quarters, good croup, very good topline. Moves wide in front otherwise moves well.
3rd. Cairn's Jodaseen Jamiroquai.

Limit Dog (13/1)
1st. Saunder's Tuwos Halestorm at Showadows. 2.5 year old brown/rust dog. Very square. Very nice masculine head, almost parallel planes, strong long muzzle, good fill under eyes. Good colour eyes for brown. Very nice neck placement. Very good front, with excellent hindquarters, strong topline and very good croup. Good strong bones, moves very well with good drive.
2nd. Moore & McPhee's Trystorme Zhivago JW 3.5 year old black/rust male. Very good masculine head, could be more parallel planes. Good dark eyes. Correct bite and dentition. Excellent front, excellent neck placement and hindquarters. Good croup and topline. Good bone and tan markings. Moves well.
3rd. Sommerville's Diego's De Boer.

Open Dog (13/0)
1st. Evans' Amazon El Torro 2 year old black/rust male. Very stylish dog, showed very well. Good head with parallel planes, dark eyes and correct bite and dentition. Excellent front, good neck, excellent hind quarters, good topline and croup. Moves very well, good strong bone and tan markings. Dog CC and on referees decision Best In Show.
2nd. Ingram's Ch. Jojavik Mafioso JW 2 year old black/rust male. Shown well. Square build, very good head with parallel planes and very dark eyes with correct bite and dentition. Very good neck placement, excellent front and hind quarters, strong topline, good croup and moves very well. Reserve CC and on referees decision Reserve Best In Show.
